How do you serve the city of Dublin?
In Dublin, Malik serves as the chair of the Community Inclusion Advisory Committee (CIAC) and has previously served on Dublin Police Department Chief Justin Paez’s Advisory Committee (CAC). In these roles, Malik has worked closely with the city’s public safety departments, diverse representatives of community leaders from all parts of Dublin City and council leadership and city manager’s office to foster better understanding, raise awareness of the city’s evolving social fabric needs, and emphasize the importance of collaboration as an informed and cohesive community, building and a global Dublin for all.Additionally, Malik serves on the Dublin Arts Council (DAC) as an advisor, promoting Dublin’s living experience and community understanding through the rich aspects of art and its impact on cultural enlightenment and growth as a 21st-century global community.
Last year, Malik also served as an advisor to Washington Township’s Diversity Committee task force, facilitating community dialogue to increase workforce diversity and outreach opportunities between township leadership, service staff, and diverse communities
